Relax and breathe very slowly and deeply.
Imagine yourselves submerged in limpid water…………………… It is neither too deep, nor too hot or too cold………………….It welcomes us………it makes us feel good.
Each of you choose the position you prefer: sitting, lying down, standing up…..in the water that is the principle element……………….Now we begin to look around; on the water’s bed there is sand…………….shells…………..stones; this is the element of earth.
We are serene and relaxed and we breathe deeply……………….Suddenly a seagull can be seen on the horizon, it flies nearer and distracts us from the the water and earth, we observe the air……………….all these elements make us feel good……..
However we are not accustomed to this quiet state, and so a thought comes to mind…………a troubling thought, about something we must sort out, but we have postponed it: a problem, an illness, an anguish, a discussion………………….something that has arrived to disturb this quiet state.
How can we return to the harmony we had before?
This method will always be useful, not only during this meditation, but every time you have annoying, burdensome, or anxious thoughts that make you feel uneasy.
Don’t try to quickly remove a thought like this, even if the desire is to find harmony again. Without looking on it as the enemy, we will welcome it within us, even illness is not an enemy because it makes us think.
Welcoming the thought, we ask ourselves why Life has allowed this thought to come to us.
What does Life want to teach us?
Just as we are, submerged in clean water with our feet on the sand, and the birds that fly around us, in this harmonious place, let us welcome a disturbing thought.
Let us welcome disharmony, the troublesome thought, and then we will let it go……..because the well being, the harmony, the peace that this place gives us, is much stronger than the disharmony.
We have not eliminated the problem, we have not removed it, we have welcomed it.
By welcoming it, we are absolutely certain that it contains the solution…………….that Life is offering us……….that everything will work out when we have understood the teaching within the problem.
…………………………….There is no hurry……no need to be irritated….
…………….We must hunt for the treasure…… to understand the lesson within the problem………………………………To understand it we must understand ourselves………………what method are we using to face the problem, which vibrations are we using: anger, force, patience?
………………….We must ask ourselves about the tools we are using to face the problem. Life has given it to us………………We must resolve it by understanding it……………….When we have understood it, the solution will arrive, because then the problem will have nothing more to teach us………………….You must always maintain this condition within you: Remember that when a thought becomes a problem, you must look for a quiet place, where you can be comfortable, and then visualize the image of this water……………..Retrieve the problem, and focus on this absolute certainty: Life is love, it cannot make people suffer for the fun of it.
………………………………….When you have solved the problem, when Life has offered you the solution, then treasure it………..the understanding you have of yourselves has improved through this, and you have taken an evolutionary step forward………………
Still breathing slowly and deeply, come out of the water and sit on the beach…………………..look towards the horizon………….around you……………there is no human being near you……….you are alone……………..but there are the elements: air, water, earth, the strength of the fire, the sky………The Universe is made of all these…………………….and you are alone in the middle of the elements…………….You lie down on the sand, open your arms wide…………….close your eyes…………….keep breathing slowly and deeply……………………you become one with the sand……………..you become a grain of sand………………………..it doesn’t have troublesome thoughts…………..it isn’t frightened of the future………….it has no desire to impress………………it doesn’t worry about being judged…………………it Is………………..it simply Is………a grain of sand.
You have to reach the state of Being, simply and continuously Being…………………Being yourselves………………..without hurting others……………..without fear of the future……………without being ashamed of what you are, but conscious of BEING………………..
You feel peaceful………….carefree…………….. a desire to live…… because you feel strong, you don’t feel lonely any more………..because you know that you will have all the help you need from the Universe………………………………..
Your task is to facilitate this help……………not to block it……….or refuse it……………..but welcome it with simplicity………. goodwill………..lightheartedness…….because you deserve this help.
Always ask for help from the finest part of you……….Don’t be blocked by what you have learned from the Mind or rationality…….. If they are not right for you, and don’t make you feel good……….then suppress them……………………………….
In being yourself, you have done exactly what you were supposed to do on this Earth: harmonizing with the divine…………………being part of the divine. This will lead you to live with relativity……to be carefree………………………..There are no absolute events…………..only relative ones that must help you to know yourselves better…………………………….
Return to your former appearance……………..You are no longer a grain of sand, you are again yourselves with a stronger awareness: …………………..the awareness that you want to always be yourselves………………………….then you will love and respect yourselves…………and automatically you will love and respect others…………………….
You will not fear other people because you do not fear their opinions of you………………..the events that Life offers you will not scare you, because you see them just as a lesson…………………………
There is no fear of the future, because the more we are in contact with ourselves……the most profound part……the future will always be harmonious, satisfying and positive.
Every evening give thanks, thank yourselves for the effort you have put into achieving self-awareness…………………Don’t perceive yourselves through the eyes of others………………don’t judge yourselves……………….Evaluate yourselves only with love………..You won’t always be able to give the best of yourselves…………..or live in a positive way, but this doesn’t mean that you should judge yourselves negatively…………….It must only be a reminder to return to the positive path, to return to the profound meaning of Life: we are here to know ourselves, accept ourselves and love ourselves.
